 He said nine Russian passenger planes are receiving maintenance services in Iran.  Because Iran has the parts and services needed for Russian aircraft.


 Rustom Kasemi said that recently Iran is in a good position in terms of aircraft maintenance and repair.


 While Iran and Russia continue to maintain close cooperation in various fields despite foreign sanctions, reports have emerged of Iran taking up Russian aircraft maintenance services.  Due to bilateral cooperation, the sanctions imposed against the two countries did not have much impact.


 The Russian government has said several times that it is using Iran's diverse experience in dealing with foreign sanctions.


 Russia and Iran have struck a variety of deals in recent months to fuel their economic boom.
