After the Pakistan-Afghanistan match, fans clashed in the gallery, chairs, water bottles were thrown.

Afghanistan was knocked out of the tournament in Wednesday's match itself.  Tension erupted in the gallery after Pak batsman Asif Ali got into an altercation with Afghanistan fast bowler Farid Ahmed in the nineteenth over of the match.


Pakistani fans attacked in Sharjah.  Afghanistan lost by one wicket to Pakistan in the Asia Cup Super Four match on Wednesday.  Angry and disappointed Afghanistan cricket fans ransacked the Sharjah Stadium after the last over loss to Pakistan.  The fans of the two teams threw chairs at Pakistan fans and clashed outside the stadium premises.

 The Afghanistan and Pakistan players were separated before the situation got out of control and the match ended with the Babar Azam-led team winning in dramatic fashion.  In a series of viral videos, a section of Afghanistan fans were seen uprooting stadium chairs...


The whole thing went beyond the control of the security guards of the stadium.  However, no one is reported to have been injured in this incident.  It is to be noted that Farid thought of going in front of Asif and punching him as soon as he got out.  Asif got angry at that.  He also raised the bat and signaled to hit him.  Before the situation got out of hand, other Afghanistan cricketers left.  They took Farid away.


 Asif kept saying something while going out.  Hasan Ali cooled him down in that situation.  He came to the field and asked Farid to calm down.  They handled the situation.  Otherwise, there was a situation of laying hands on each other in the field.  The umpires rushed to handle the situation.


 It should be noted that due to the victory of Pakistan in this match, the next two matches of the Super Four round of the Asia Cup have no value.  Because in the next match Pakistan and Sri Lanka and India and Afghanistan will face each other.  Sri Lanka and Pakistan have reached the final after winning 2 matches each.  On the other hand, India and Afghanistan lost 2 matches each and lost the competition.  As a result, the last 2 matches remained only for compliance.
